Biological Safety Cabinet
A Biological Safety Cabinet (BSC), also known as a Biosafety Cabinet is mainly used for handling pathogenic biological samples or for applications that require a sterile work zone. A biological safety cabinet creates inflow and downflow of air that provides operator protection. The downflow air passes through an ULPA/HEPA filter and creates an ISO Class 3 work zone to protect samples from the risk of cross-contaminationTo guarantee the biological safety cabinet's optimum performance these are tested and classified by 2 standards: EN 12469:2000 and NSF 49.
Control Standard Endotoxin (CSE)
Control Standard Endotoxin (CSE) is a widely used standard for endotoxin testing. It is a purified extract of E. coliO113:H10, the same strain used for the United States Pharmacopeia and the European Pharmacopeia reference standard endotoxin (RSE).
Corning® Ascent® Fixed Bed Bioreactor System
Features an innovative bioreactor designed to enable uniform media flow and uniform high-density cell growthDemonstrated to achieve greater than 90% transfection efficiency and high AAV-GFP vector yield/m², which can reduce required runs and result in substantial cost savingsEnables viable cell harvests for seed train and total viral particle capture and a path for other applications, such as stem cell therapy workflowsMultiple Ascent FBR formats, from a 1 m² benchtop system to 1,000 m² production system, are planned to help create a stable and well-defined manufacturing processAllows for the use of chemical (detergent) or mechanical (freeze/thaw, microfluidization) cell lysis methods for the release of cell-associated viral vectors
Corning® CellCube® Cell Culture System
The Corning CellCube cell culture system provides a compact, perfusion-based method for the mass culture of attachment-dependent cells. CellCube modules are made of polystyrene plates joined together to create thin, sealed laminar flow spaces between adjacent plates and are coated with either a Tissue Culture-treated growth surface or Corning CellBIND® surface to enhance attachment. Utilizing a perfusion-based design, the CellCube system is able to mimic the constant fluid flow of in vivo conditions and reliably distribute nutrients and oxygen with low differential gradients across all attached cells throughout the modules. Corning also offers Closed system CellCube modules available pre-assembled with AseptiQuick® connectors, as well as aseptic circulation loops that facilitate cell culture scale-up.
Corning® CellSTACK® Culture Chambers
Choice of traditional surface treatment, Corning CellBIND® surface for enhanced cell attachment, or Ultra-Low Attachment surface for reduced cell attachment on selected CellSTACK products.
Corning® Disposable Spinner Flasks
The Corning disposable spinner flask system comes ready-to-use with a paddle and integrated magnet, reducing the need for time-consuming assembly, cleaning, or reassembly.Molded from virgin polystyrene and sterile, each spinner flask system assures a clean sterile unit. No more concerns with detergent residues or contamination. The paddle size and height are optimized for each vessel size. A unique integrated magnet provides smooth, even rotation at required speeds on slow-speed stirrers. Heat build-up in the vessel is reduced by means of a specially designed flange that raises the vessel off the stir-plate surface (125 mL and 500 mL flasks only).
Corning® HYPERStack® Cell Culture Vessels
Closed System for High Yield Cell GrowthThe Corning HYPERStack cell culture vessel combines the best of two Corning products: the Corning CellSTACK® and the Corning HYPERFlask® cell culture vessels. The utilization of gas-permeable film technology provided in the spatial footprint of the CellSTACK vessel allows the HYPERStack platform to be among the most efficient, scalable cell culture vessels for adherent cell culture available today.
Culture Media & Rinsing Fluids for Sterility Testing
Our sterility testing Culture Media and Rinsing Fluids are a critical component of your Steritest™ solution. They provide the highest level of quality and testing confidence, they have been formulated and tested to meet the requirements of the USP <71>, EU Pharmacopoeia < 2.6.1> and JP Pharmacopoeia <4.06>. Steritest™ sterility Culture Media and Rinsing Fluids are manufactured in an ISO 9001, environmentally controlled production center. Each lot undergoes a stringent quality control (QC) procedure, including pH, sterility and growth promotion tests according to USP, EP and JP methods. Our manufacturing approach ensures the highest level of clarity for our culture media and rinsing fluids, therefore improving accuracy and significantly reducing the risk of incorrect interpretation and false results.
Culture Media and Air Filtration Unit
Solutions covering all steps from coarse filtration, pre-filtration to sterile filtration and air filtrationFilter membrane types: PP, Mixed esters of cellulose, PES filter, PVDF filter, PTFE filterPore sizes: 0.45 µm, 0.22 µm, 0.1 µm
Culture Media for Media Fill Test
High-quality culture media includes low-dust granular liquid media and ready-to-use irradiated bagged mediaEach batch is carefully tested for sterility and growth performanceFree from Mycoplasma and BSEGrowth performance proven to exceed EP/USP standards.
Culture Media for Microbiology
Granular media - GranuCult®, and powdered media - NutriSelect® with multiple quality control levels that comply with various standards such as EP, USP, JP, ISO, or FDA-BAM. Additionally, there are rapid culture media (chromogenic media): ChromoCult®, ReadyCult®, and FluoroCult®.
Endotoxin test kit
LAL reagents are primarily used to test for endotoxins in injectable pharmaceuticals, biological products, and medical devices. They are also used in renal dialysis centers and a wide range of other applications. Can achieve a maximum sensitivity of 0.001 EU/mL
EZ-Fit® Manifold
The EZ-Fit® filtration system complies with water sample testing regulations and bioburden limits, adhering to international standards such as EP, USP, and ISO. The filtration system includes the EZ-Fit™ Manifold multi-branch filter holder, the quiet-operating EZ-Stream™ Pump, and various types of filter funnels (glass, stainless steel, plastic with membrane), along with the optional EZ-Pak® membrane dispenser. The filter membranes are available in pore sizes of 0.22µm, 0.45µm, and 0.8µm, made from various materials. Notably, the special PVDF membrane is used for samples containing antibiotics and antimicrobial agents.
EZ-Fit™ Filtration Unit
- Microbial testing won’t be a burden when you use EZ-Fit® filtration units. The sterilized, disposable filtration devices for bioburden testing streamline your workflow, save time and give you highly reliable microbial enumeration results.
EZ-Fluo™ Rapid Detection System
EZ-Fluo™ is a non-destructive method that enables you to continue to grow the microorganisms after they have been stained in order to identify them using any standard ID technology. This is a tremendous advantage compared to other rapid test systems which cannot ID microorganisms using the same sample that was tested to detect the contamination
