LAL reagents are primarily used to test for endotoxins in injectable pharmaceuticals, biological products, and medical devices. They are also used in renal dialysis centers and a wide range of other applications.
Pyrotell®-T lysate is used to quantify endotoxin in kinetic turbidimetric tests. It can be used for a wide variety of endotoxin tests, ranging from standard water testing to samples requiring high sensitivity, such as intrathecal products and those requiring high dilutions to overcome interference.
Pyrochrome is a versatile quantitative reagent that is used to perform kinetic or endpoint assays. It is a sensitive and flexible reagent that can be used for testing in compliance with the USP, EP and JP bacterial endotoxins test chapter.
Pyrotell Kit is available in single vial test (SVT), 2ml vial, and 5ml vial formats. For the 2ml and 5ml Pyrotell kits, the vials are provided separately, while the Pyrosate kit for single samples is packaged with 10 tests.
The product is used with CSE control reagents (E0005-1; E125-1).

Pyrotell-T Reagent is packaged in a vial equivalent to 96 tests when using a sample-to-reagent ratio of 4:1 on the Pyros Kinetix Flex instrument or 48 tests with a 1:1 sample-to-reagent ratio on a plate reader.
It is recommended to use the standard endotoxin control reagent CSE (E0005-1).
Pyrochrome Reagent is packaged with a reconstitution buffer solution and is recommended for use with the CSE standard endotoxin control solution (E0005-1) at a concentration of 10 ng/vial.
